DIY panelized HOME framing kits include OSB sheathing on all exterior walls as a standard.

  • Framing kits for sheds, garages, and steel utility buildings are NOT sheathed with OSB.
  • OSB sheathing may also be added to other kits such as garage, stable, steel building at additional cost.
  • All standard items are as per Vendor specifications – any customized items will incur additional charges
  • Framing kits for sheds do not include stamped engineered drawings as they are considered portable temp structures.

DIY Panelized HOME Framing Kits include the following:

  1. Complete Architectural and Structural Drawings stamped by Licensed Engineer with structural certification of the drawings and design
  2. Assembly drawings for the wall panels and trusses
  3. Galvanized Steel Stud wall framing assembled as 2′, 4′, 6′, 8′ and 10′ wide panels for all interior and exterior walls as shown on plans including:
    1. OSB (5/8″) sheathing on all exterior walls.
    2. Door jams and headers.
    3. Window jams, headers, and sills.
    4. Diagonal bracing (if required) is part-marked, pre-cut for required wall panels
    5. An assembly diagram for each wall section identifying the location of each part-marked component in the section assembly.
    6. All self-drilling screws, and angle clips required for assembly of the building frame.
  4. Galvanized Steel Stud Roof framing (if used and included in sales order)
    1. Steel Roof Truss or rafter System assembled as one or more sections ready for final assembly onsite by client.
    2. Blocking is part-marked, and pre-cut for easy assembly between rafters onsite by client
    3. The roof framing is divided into sections, part-marked, and packaged individually for assembly and easy handling.
    4. An assembly diagram for each roof section identifying the location of each part-marked component in the section assembly.
    5. All self-drilling screws, and angle clips required for assembly of the building frame.
  5. Galvanized Roof Trusses (if used and included in sales order)
    1. Steel Roof Truss or rafter System assembled as one or more sections ready for final assembly onsite by client.
    2. Each truss is individually packaged and part-marked.
    3. An assembly diagram for each truss identifying the location of each par-marked component in the section assembly.
    4. All bolts, nuts, attachment clip, self-drilling screws, and bracing required for assembly of the building frame.
  6. Optional Metal Roofing, Siding, & Trim Kits (optional and additional costs where applicable, (if used and included in sales order):
    1. Roofing 29 gauge 24″ to 36″‘ wide panel
    2. Walls 29 gauge 24″ to 36″‘ wide panel
    3. White trim package
    4. All self-drilling fasteners, to complete the building.

Though these are sold as DIY (Do It Yourself) kits, you will most likely will be required to use licensed trades in your municipality for  excavation, engineering, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and septic/sewer connections. Check with your local building/permitting department before purchasing any plans and or kits.
